Refund policy

At Ranthambore Diaries, all safari bookings are processed strictly as per Forest Department regulations. Guests are requested to review the refund policy carefully before confirming their booking.

Payment & Confirmation

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm safari permits and seats.
  • Once payment is made and the booking is confirmed, it is considered final.

Refund & Cancellation Rules

  • All safari bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once confirmed.
  • No refund or cancellation is permitted for bookings canceled by the guest for any reason.
  • Safari permits issued by the Forest Department are non-refundable once generated.

Eligible Refund Cases

Refunds are applicable only in the following situation:

  • If the safari is canceled by the Forest Department or park authorities due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances.

In such cases, refunds (if approved) will be processed according to forest department guidelines.

Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds will be provided in cases of:

  • Guest-initiated cancellation or no-show
  • Late arrival at the safari entry gate
  • Change in travel plans or personal reasons
  • Weather conditions or wildlife movement
  • Failure to carry the original government-issued ID used during booking

Important Information

  • Wildlife sightings, including tiger sightings, are not guaranteed and cannot be claimed as a reason for refund.
  • Safari zones, timings, routes, and vehicle allocation are managed solely by the Forest Department.
  • Ranthambore Diaries acts only as a booking facilitator and follows all official regulations.
